Your golf vacation in the Tarn

Following a sailing venture of five years on the Atlantic Ocean we decided to settle once again on dry land. The grey weather and “fullness” of our home country Holland was not an attractive option. Our vision was of a place with wide spaces, undulating hills, far away from the crowds yet still close to the enjoyable things in life like fine food, culture and history. An added requirement was the prospect of playing our favourite sport golf and the accompanying social life.
We found our niche in S France and more particularly in the Tarn region, where an old watermill was just asking to be restored. The Tarn fulfilled all the above requirements; a thousand year omnipresent history and a beautiful environment with a handful of good golf courses nearby.
The longer we live here, the more we enjoy, and are happy with our decision to move to this area with its friendly and civilised people.

The arrangement we are offering covers a one week lodging in our gîte (apartment restored in an old barn) with three playing days. The green fees, as well as lunches on these days are included. The other days you can choose to play golf or you can take advantage of all that the area has to offer, visit wineries, the museum of the fabulous painter Henri Toulouse Lautrec, who was borne in this area, or you may just decide to relax with a book in the sun with the sound of a stream murmuring in the background.
